Three hubs where everything starts

Most Durrës routes start from one of three places. Know them and you already know where to go.

  • Durrës Bus Station

    Stacioni i Autobusëve Durrës

Next to the railway station (Stacioni i Trenit)

    North, northeast and the airport

    Rinas Airport · Tirana (South-North Terminal) · Shkodër · Lezhë · Sukth · Fllakë

City buses to Golem and Shijak leave from Rruga Adria right next to the station.

  • Plepa Station

    Stacioni i Autobusëve Plepa

Junction of Rruga Pavarësia and Rruga Shkëmbi i Kavajës, by the Rotondo mall

    South, southeast and Tirana

Tirana (Garibaldi Square) · Berat · Elbasan · Cërrik via Peqin · Gramsh · Lushnjë · Peqin · Poliçan · Bilisht

City buses into town leave from here: Plazh (light blue), Unaza (dark blue) and Golem (red).

  • Pranvera stops

    Pranvera

Rruga e Dëshmorëve and Rruga Adria — from the Martyrs’ Monument to the bridge at the start of the Beach

    Almost all city routes

Plepa via Plazh · Plepa via Unaza · Currila · Porto Romano · Golem · Shijak · Fushë-Krujë

Google Maps shows duplicate stops and wrong photos here — find your way on the spot.

How to pay

  • On city routes you pay on board: take a seat and the conductor will come to you. Cash in lek only — keep small coins handy.
  • A city fare is 40 LEK (100 LEK to Golem).
  • Intercity tickets can sometimes be bought online, but some drivers and operators don’t accept e-tickets. Cash is the safer bet.
  • Small routes have few seats, so it’s best to arrive early.
  • Many routes are run by small, sometimes one-person operators: stops and timetables can be incomplete or inaccurate.

Beyond the city

Timetables and fares in Albania change without notice, and small operators often stray from the schedule. The data comes from the Durrës by Bus directory, which passengers fill in themselves (checked: October 2026). Before an important trip, confirm the timetable at the station or with the operator.
